Developing an understanding of garment’s component parts and manufacture as a way to deconstruct and reverse engineer a garment to extend its end of life of the product or
its components. The students will undertake a deconstruction of a garment (a business shirt) and reverse engineer the garment to take on another form.
Utilizing 1-3 shirts in the reengineering process, with consideration of how to minimise or repurpose garment waste, and show consideration of any other material impacts.
